Robin’s Landscape and Garden Design Consultancy specialises predominantly in large, prestigious, private gardens and landscapes. He is one of Britain’s leading garden designers and is internationally renowned, working throughout the UK and around the world.
Robin has over 30 years experience in the garden design and landscaping industry, it has always been part of his life as his father too was a successful landscaper, designer and author..
All of the initial concept design work is undertaken by Robin, who then personally oversees the development of each project. He has a particular eye for detail and every element within the design is there for a reason, from the position of a tree to the direction and way the paving is laid. The devil is in the detail as they say and nothing is left to chance.
As a former Vice Chairman and Fellow of the UK’s Society of Garden Designers (SDG) and past Board member of the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI), Robin continues to play a large part in the growth and development of the Landscape and Garden Design Industry within the UK and internationally. He has also been a certified member of the USA’s Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD) for many years as well as being their Board Director from January 2008- August 2009. .
He also teaches and lectures internationally on a wide range of topics and is a Director of Garden Design School.
Robin’s garden designs have won him a clutch of medals including Gold at the Royal Horticultural Society’s (RHS) Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows (click on Awards, left, for more details). He has also regularly been a judge for these world renowned shows.
