Garden Design training by leading Garden Designers

In addition to being one of the UK's leading garden designers, Robin Templar Williams is also co-founder and joint principal of one of the country's most successful independent garden design colleges, Garden Design School (GDS).

The college offers a 34 week, intensive, part-time, one year Diploma Course in Garden Design, which is taught at a modern training centre in the beautiful surroundings of Painshill Park (Cobham, Surrey - 15 miles from London) and in Bristol at the Bristol Botanic Garden. The course covers all of the core skills needed to set up and practise as a professional garden designer. Over 75% of the teaching is undertaken by Robin and his co-director, Moira Farnham.

Last year, Garden Design Schoo successfully launched a Diploma programme in Boston, USA, again taught by Robin and Moira, with guest lecturers on specialist subjects and input from John Devore, a garden and landscape designer based in the USA. For more details, please call
